Iโve always struggled with blackheads on my nose and have tried many different products, but most either irritated my skin or didnโt deliver the desired results. Recently, I decided to try these charcoal nose strips, and they exceeded all my expectations. Each strip comes in individual packaging, which makes them very convenient to store and use. Theyโre suitable for all skin types, adhere well to the nose, and donโt peel off too early. After removing them, my skin looks fresh and clean. They really help reduce breakouts and blackheads while tightening pores. I havenโt noticed any downsides during use โ a great addition to a skincare routine.

Item received in good condition in a small branded packet. Iโd been tearing my hair out over the specks of blackheads along my nose, so when I spotted these Damaile EU nose strips I thought, why not? I lobbed a box into the bathroom cupboard and, in no time, the whole household was having a go, including the two teenagers who usually treat Dadโs skin-care chat as background noise.
Each strip has a charcoal layer fixed to a soft cotton pad. You press it onto damp skin, wait roughly ten minutes, then peel it away. The muck comes off with no burn or angry redness. The ingredients list is mercifully short, nothing that looks as though it escaped from a school science lab, which puts my mind at ease.
Another plus is how the strip moulds to my slightly crooked nose without curling up at the edges. The moment you whip it off, you can see the grime itโs lifted and the pores look tighter. My T-zone stays matt for a good chunk of the day and thereโs no flakiness afterwards.
Quality feels spot-on and the speed of a peel-and-bin routine beats faffing about with a clay mask. Decent value too, so Iโll keep a pack in stock for me, the wife and those supposedly uninterested teens who always pocket the last strip.

Sundays used to mean nothing more exciting than cold tea and a stack of exercise books, but lately I have added a new ritual. While I plough through spelling tests, I press one of the Damaile charcoal nose strips across my nose and leave it to do its thing. When it dries and I peel it off, I tilt the strip towards the light to inspect the tiny, grim trophies it has caught. Revolting, yet oddly satisfying.
The box contains eighty individually wrapped sachets, so running out is not on the horizon. Each strip is laced with bamboo charcoal, free from alcohol and perfume, and it clings to the contours of my fairly average nose without that tar-like stickiness some brands have. A quick splash of warm water, smooth side down, then fifteen minutes of marking later I give it a gentle tug. Up come sebaceous filaments and the occasional stubborn blackhead, yet my skin feels calm, not angry.
Two strips a week keep lunchtime shine at bay, sparing me frantic powder top-ups in the staffroom. My pores look tighter, my T-zone stays matte, and there is no redness in sight.

The box arrives with what can only be described as a lifetime supply, eighty strips tucked into their own little sachets. Instead of that chemical smell you sometimes get, these use bamboo charcoal and leave no whiff at all. They are cut generously too, so even my prominent hooter is covered from bridge to tip, without the edges curling up.
Application is straightforward. A quick splash of warm water, press the strip down and it grips firmly, but not so fiercely that you dread removal. After about ten minutes the material stiffens into something that feels like thin card, that is the cue to peel, and the result is as gross as it is pleasing, a line-up of tiny sebum plugs clinging to the underside.
I have been using a strip every other night for two weeks and the change is noticeable. My nose no longer blinds passers-by at lunchtime and the pores look less like lunar craters.
Solid construction, gentle ingredients and more strips than I know what to do with, all for a fair price. This is one bit of skincare gear that will stay in my bathroom cupboard.
